How to SPA?

Entering Spa World:
When you enter Houston Spa World, you are given a shoe locker key and you put your shoes away (you will have another locker for your personal belongings). You give the key back to the staff member and they will return it to you when you come back for your final checkout.
You will be asked to show a valid photo ID (including legal name, gender, and DOB) to prove your identity. Valid forms of ID include:
- Identification Card
- Drivers License
- Passport
For the safety of all Spa world guests and employees, identification cards will be scanned upon entry.
Next, you are given your access key bracelet and a Spa World uniform. The access key is used for accessing your personal locker in the locker room and for paying for any charges while you are inside the spa. Your access key bracelet can be scanned in our café, bar, and restaurant to make purchases. You will then be directed to the gender-separated locker and bath areas, where you begin your Spa World experience!
*If you are checking a child into Kid's World, please do so after you check into the spa, but before you change into your spa uniform. Please be aware that children under 11 are not allowed in any of the spa areas, including the locker room. For more information, visit our Kid's World page.

Beginning your spa experience:
Use your access key to open your personal locker once you’re inside the locker rooms. Leave your belongings and your Spa World uniform there. Enter the spa with your access key around your wrist and take a shower before using the spa pools. You must remove all clothing in order to get into the baths (separated by gender). We suggest you spend around 10 minutes in the warm baths and 5 minutes in the cold bath. Next, use the steam sauna for approximately 10 minutes and go back to the cold bath for 5 minutes to relax your body. When finished, you put on your uniform and you may go enjoy the rest of Spa World.
Please note that guests are not required to enter the pools in the bath area. Guests are welcome to immediately change into their spa uniforms and proceed to the saunas if they prefer.

Saunas
The suggested time for each sauna is no more than twenty minutes for each time you go in.There is no sequential order for using the saunas, but after meals, it is recommended that you start off with a light sauna including the Pyramid Room, Himalayan Salt Room, Jade Room, Ocher Room. Then you may use a hotter sauna like the Fire Dome (Bulgama).

Other Spa World attractions
You are welcome to enjoy the rest of Spa World as you wish. We have lounge areas, movie theater, outdoor terrace, Korean restaurant, café, bar and free Wi-Fi. We offer foot and body acupressure, body scrub, massages, screen golf, and an indoor playground for children 10 and under. Please be aware that spa services, iGolf, karaoke, and Kid's World are additional services not included with the general admission. These services, as well as any purchases made in the restaurant, bar and café, can be added to your access key, so you can pay the total at checkout. You must book an appointment for body treatment and massages or check for availability once you’re here. Please arrive 20 minutes before your scheduled time in order to get ready for the service.

Checking out
Once you’re ready to check out, you return to the locker rooms and take a shower. You leave your used uniform or towels in the laundry basket and change back into your own clothes. Please be sure to leave uniforms and towels in the designated laundry baskets in the locker room.
If you have a child checked in at Kid's World, please go ahead and check them out after changing out of your spa uniform, but before checking out of the spa.
When you're ready to check out, you will return your access key to reception and pay any remaining balances. After you pay, you will be given the shoe locker key to retrieve your shoes before returning it to the front desk attendant.

Great place to relax. Had such fun going to the different saunas. The heat and the cold interval effect on your body helps in blood circulation. There are different body treatment services available upon request. A food court serving both Korean & contemporary American dishes. Carmen Cruz

Really enjoyed our time here. Various spa rooms and amenities that can be enjoyed for an all day stay including delicious Korean food which we also enjoyed. The place and staff is very organized and sanitary, had no issues at all. Armando Carrillo
Plan to spend an entire day from opening to close, cause you won't want to leave! A very calming, comfortable, and stress free environment. The food was delicious too! The older gentleman who is at the upstairs restaurant was so kind and inviting, and puts lots of thought and love into his dishes. Mimi Love
Great place to unwind and relax. They have numerous different saunas, each themed differently. The hot tub area is accessible through each locker room, where you must first change into the provided outfit before visiting the saunas. Marc Richter
